StyleGAN3 Remake - Who The Fuck Is Conor?

Custom trained StyleGAN3 AI Model on the frames of Who The Fuck Is Conor? and reproduced the film from the results

Volumetric video

Experimenting with moving image / GLSL. An early prototype for video-driven point clouds.

Currently, there is just one video but future iterations will collage different textures together to create a 3D scene. Hoping to experiment with more figures and live performance.

Video quantizer

A quantizer / dithering shader with potentiometers to control the colours.

Machine poems

This machine reads the presence of liquid or bubbles in the tube. Using this data, it finds words to create on-the-fly poetry. The words are displayed on an LCD screen and spoken aloud.

Audio is encoded in a tiny format so it can be stored on the Arduino's onboard memory, giving the machine a personal voice.

Who the fuck is conor?

After intensive interviews with the cast, we created characters through roleplay and let them meet for the first time, over drinks.

7/8 actors drunk on the telly.
Shown on Christmas day 2022 at AT5.

A scripted film about two men who just want to stay in. At least, one does.
